A month of perfect nutrition?

THIS CHALLENGE IS OVER. READ HOW I DID HERE:


So I'm a pretty serious cyclist and I have a full season of races coming up.

Cycling is a great sport for me because I LOVE TO EAT. Yeah, ok, everyone says that so when I say it people think OH WOW, ME TOO. No. YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. I will eat MORE THAN YOU.

MORE.

Generally I eat quite healthy, but nowhere near optimally. My constant love of binging means that I have periods where I overeat and periods where I undereat and that's how my weight remains relatively constant. I'm actually watching my weight even though I'm burning 3000-4000 calories a day.

Now it's time to lose 5 pounds. Maybe the last 5 pounds ever? I want to do this right. As right as it possibly can be done. So I bought a nutrition plan from Anne Guzman, a former pro cyclist who really knows her stuff when it comes to eating and cycling. But not Bomberman. She probably sucks at Bomberman. Sorry Anne, can't be good at everything in life.

It is a detailed MEAL BY MEAL plan for one entire month. Every calorie accounted for, every meal planned in advance.

I've done some pretty hardcore food-counting experiments before:



But this is the first time I'm going to use my extreme self-deprivation and bean-counting skills towards a productive goal! Can't wait! I will be starting the month at about 158 pounds and hopefully end at or near 153 without losing fitness.

This is going to be a LOT of work. I expect to be at the grocery store almost every single day and I will cook waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than I'm used to because right now I make 40 pounds of food in one batch and just forget about it. Now I'll have to make something different like 5 times a day!

AND THAT'S WHY THIS IS CALLED A CHALLENGE!
