I've been feeling lazy lately. So I'll do the same thing I need to do every time I want to be motivated: start up insane
challenges that will ruin my life for the next months.
Wow that graph looks pretty ominous with all its rainbow colors! What stupid thing am I about to do? Well, while I'm doing the
The Calorie Ladder( day 12 atm, or 900 calories) I will start a work ladder. Starting with
one hour, I will work one extra hour each day until I reach 24, and then back down. I don't know if you've ever tried to work 24 hours in a
row, but let me tell you that IT IS HARD. Especially sitting in front of a computer with 1000 distractions.
Now, obviously I can't work 24 hours in a 24 hour day and then work 23 the next. When will I sleep? So here's the rule. From the moment
I wake up to the moment I go to sleep, I must have worked the required amount of time. So the sooner I get to work, the sooner I can
go to sleep! Hurray. I will then mark down what day of this process I am on.
More rules:
- From the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep, I must have worked the required amount of hours for that step in the ladder.
- Extra hours on one day cannot be carried over. Tough shit.
- I can take breaks, as long as the total hours of work are equal to the required amount.
- I can take days off if my family visits or if I visit my family. For those days, I will simply take the day off and start back again the
next. I will still add up the days at the bottom. I can't sacrifice my family for this stupid stuff. Heh.
What will I be working on? A game. One single game. And I doubt I'll be done or even close to done, but with that much work put into it
by 2010, it should feel pretty awesome. Also, no, it's not a Flash game. Well...maybe some of it is....
Some interesting facts:
In the first week, I will have worked 28 hours.
In the next one? 77 hours.
I will have worked a total of 576 hours. That is over 2
Work Months
Let's see how long it takes me!
DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS AT HOME UNLESS YOU ARE FUCKING CRAZY
