Arizona - California Part 1

Decided to do a little stint down to Arizona to visit my awesome friends in Tuscon! I have the car, time to use it until it explodes.

The way out. 3100km driven in 3 days. Some biking.

Hit these on the way down, will get the rest on the way back.

Long stretch of nothing here.

And Tuscon, made it. Nice and toasty here.

Supposedly largest egg, in Winlock, WA.

There's a bigger one near Montreal. This is a travesty.

Tallest totem from one single log. Very suspicious, trees grow way larger then this.

Tallest barber shop pole.

Ok I believe in this one. Lazy, but legit.

Biggest box of raisins, at the Sunmaid factory. There's a gift shop!

Largest olive. We can do better.

Largest thermometer, in Baker, CA. Gateway to Death Valley/ Vegas.

Happy it was lit up because I got there late at night. Got to keep driving for 2 hours so I could get to Tuscon faster.

Largest Desert Tortoise. Very nice.

Largest Kachina doll. It's some.. mexican thing. Hidden behind a cactus moat.

America's largest sundial. Better then the Canadian one.

Starting in Shelton, WA. My friend there has become king of Squirrels.

Climbing around Bakersfield, CA.

Really looking like the desert in BC.

The sunsets around Death Valley are something else.

Bullhead City, an oasis in the desert. Has the Biggest Desert Tortoise.

Arizona landscape. Cacti everywhere.

These grow to 20+ feet tall.

Tequilla plants

Stopped in Carefree, AZ. Had to pay 5$ to get near the largest Sundial.

If you're rich, this is what you do. Buy paintings and sculptures.

First day in Tuscon we did the Day of the Dead celebration, where ppl remember their deceased loved ones.

Basically Halloween 2.0. Got food trucks.

March going through town.

My camera is so bad.

Will keep this updated a little bit, but nothing too crazy like during this summer. Always nice to get away from the rain and BC grossness.
